The Hoover Senior Center hosted the Hoover New Horizons Fashion Show on Sept. 25. The event had 130 attendees who watched their friends model the latest fall fashions.
Hoover New Horizons President Ray Dugas and Susie Hannah of Chico’s in Trussville emceed the event, with Rachel Kimbell acting as fashion assistant. Venda Hooks, Hoover New Horizons Board member and coordinator of Chico’s event coordinator, worked behind the scenes to make the fashion show happen.

The models were Francine Pearson, Cecil Pearson, Tillie Powers, Mary Beveridge , Venda Hooks, Suzanne Challis, Yan Wang, Rosa Feltman, Annette Erwin, Virginia Albright, Jen Eubanks, Donna Wiltsey, Rose Lee Dugas, Tom Brown, Claude Hooks, Stan Challis, Tony Coppola, Bob Wiltsey and Hoover City Councilman Derrick Murphy .
The fashion show was sponsored by Chico’s in Trussville and catered by Dales Southern Grill.
