Restaurant Week Kickoff
As a kickoff to Trussville Restaurant Week, running May 2–18, participating restaurants will showcase signature dishes and offer special deals. Patrons can also take part in Restaurant Bingo, earning stamps for purchases at participating locations for a chance to win prizes. Restaurants interested in participating should call 205-655-7535. Proceeds benefit the TACC Scholarship Fund and community events. The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce will present the annual Taste of Trussville on May 1, 2025, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Trussville Civic Center. Con Huevos restaurant announced it is closing its Mexican restaurant. In a Facebook post, the owner of the restaurant said rising prices and “recent political events” contributed to the closing. “We feel fortunate to have been part of this wonderful community, and although this may not be the ending we hoped for, we will always cherish everything we experienced here,” the post said.
