Ellianos Coffee has recently opened a new drive-thru shop at 7260 Gadsden Highway in front of Publix. The Trussville shop is open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and serves coffee, smoothies, energy drinks, breakfast bowls, sandwiches, pastries and pup cups.
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers has recently opened a new donor center at 1110 North Chalkville Road. The facility offers residents a convenient place to donate whole blood, plasma and platelets to help supply area hospitals.
Parcels Express was welcomed to the community with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce in late June. Located at 8872 Gadsden Highway, the shop offers custom packaging, shipping, copying, printing and other document services.

Fun Zone, a new indoor playground and party venue, is set to open soon at 5960-B Chalkville Mountain Road. The facility offers colorful play zones designed for kids of all ages, as well as spaces for stress-free, hosted birthday parties.
RELOCATIONS AND RENOVATIONS
CrossFit Trussville has reopened in a new two-story facility called The PHNX after losing its previous gym to a fire in 2023. The rebuilt space (located at 139 Railroad St.) includes dedicated areas for physical therapy, Jiu Jitsu, martial arts, wrestling and other events, alongside its CrossFit training programs. 205-317-9234

Nathan Click and Steve Foster of TherapySouth were recently honored by the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s National Alumni Society with a Blazer Fast 40 Award, which recognizes the fastest-growing businesses led by UAB alumni. Click and Foster lead TherapySouth, a therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy practice with locations throughout the metro area, including a clinic in Trussville.
Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ in Trussville, 312 Main St., is celebrating the summer by giving back to local schools. For every pork, chicken, brisket or turkey sandwich sold now through Aug. 31, $1 is donated directly to the Trussville City Schools Foundation. Rodney Scott’s is open daily from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
